If you know that your color service is coming up try and not to put to much stress on the scalp. I have a sensitive scalp and I try not to shampoo day of my color service. This helps with having a comfortable appointment. Of course you don’t want your hair to be dirty when you come in to get your color done, just not freshly shampooed. This will ensure your experience will be easy and comfortable.

Coloring your hair, as we know, removes protein which provide strength and suppleness to your hair. If you’ve got distressed hair and are on a reconstructive or protein based haircare regime it’s important to not compromise moisture! When adding protein and lipids back into your hair the moisture can deplete. Add a moisture treatment or an oil to that regime to make sure you’re keeping your hair soft and shiny, while strengthening it!

Maroon 5 – Payphone (ft. Wiz Khalifa)
Check out Chris’ new haircut. To style his curly texture I mixed Redken’s Vinyl Glam 12 and Tousle Whip 04 into his hair. Then section by section made twists to create movement. After I used a diffuser to dry him up and finished the look with Forceful 23.
About a month ago I got my hands on an iPhone 4s! It’s pretty amazing what you could do with the touch of your finger! Anyway, I think I’ll update you guys on my blog with some of the work I do behind the chair and behind the scenes of events and photoshoots! Stay tuned for some coverage!
